Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions explain how Kinder City Nursery provides childcare and how parents use our nursery services. By applying for a place, joining the waiting list or attending sessions, you agree to these Terms.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm for 48 weeks a year.
Admissions and Registration
We offer childcare from birth to 5 years.
Admissions depend on available spaces in each age group room.
The rooms are Buttercups (birth to 24 months), Bluebells (2 to 3 years), and Poppies & Sunflowers (3 to 4 years).
A completed application form is required before a place is offered.
Joining the waiting list does not guarantee a place.
Fees and Payments
Fees are listed on our website and may change with notice.
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or childcare vouchers.
Extra hours are charged at the rates shown for each age group.
Hours before 8:30am or after 4:00pm may be charged at a higher rate.
A sibling discount is available.
Free breakfast is offered for children attending between 7:00am and 8:15am.
Parents are responsible for ensuring fees are paid on time.
Funded Hours
We offer funded hours as stated on our Fees page for eligible babies, eligible 2-year-olds and eligible 3–4-year-olds.
Parents must provide the correct eligibility code when required.
Funded hours only cover the childcare entitlement. Extra hours or services are chargeable.
Attendance and Sessions
Children attend the agreed sessions set during registration.
If a child is absent, fees still apply unless agreed otherwise.
Holiday care is charged at the applicable rate.
We may offer additional sessions if available.
Meals and Snacks
We provide freshly cooked meals and snacks.
A two-week sample menu is available on our website.
Meal times follow the nursery routine.
Parents must inform us of allergies or dietary needs.
Health, Safety and Behaviour
The nursery follows UK safeguarding requirements and local procedures.
The building uses CCTV for safety and monitoring.
Parents must keep us updated with emergency contact details.
Children who are unwell should not attend the nursery.
Nursery Environment and Facilities
Children have access to indoor play areas, sleep rooms and a secure outdoor space.
Staff-to-child ratios follow statutory requirements.
We follow the EYFS framework for learning and development.
Personal Property
The nursery is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the setting.
Policies
All nursery policies, including safeguarding and curriculum policies, are available at the nursery. Parents may request to view them at any time.
Ending a Place
If you wish to end your child’s place, notice must be given in writing.
The nursery may end a place if fees are unpaid or if the safety or wellbeing of children or staff is at risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when needed to reflect legal or nursery changes.
